Parents, by their nature, are immensely embarrassing. That is all.
Petunia’s tragic flaw is that she cannot stop narrating her own adventure. Someday she will learn about internal monologues, but sadly, today is not that day.
Greedy, Hungry, and Not That Smart
Don’t let Petunia’s comparison of the king and a dragon give you the impression she has a low opinion of him. She didn’t even mention his worst qualities: he’s also lazy and mean and smelly.
